How long have you been at Damien House? Since 1946. How has being here helped you? When I came here, I came by myself, and nobody here helped anybody else. And now, since Sister Annie arrived, everything has changed [like] the attention we receive and the medicines we receive. We are now taken to see specialists in different clinics like eye specialists, cardiologists, traumatologists… and general [medical doctors]. Now I have no complaints, I'm really content here. Sister Annie came as if sent from heaven. If you could tell other people about the hospital, what would you tell them? People ask me about this place, I would tell them that there is a lot of personal attention to the sickneseses that we have. We have all been able to fight our illnesses thanks to Sister Annie. And we are very happy to tell people about Sister Annie and her work here. I like it here. They treat me well and I especially appreciate the medicines. |
